7 Hacks To Smash Through Monday Morning Blues

Sorry guys, I know it's Monday morning and your week is just starting, but this is the official start to my weekend. That's one of the perks of only working weekends. If you have a normal 9-5 , Monday mornings can be the death of you. Let's make this Monday morning motivational, since we can't make it go away. Set small goals and knock them down like dominoes!

1- Get to bed early on Sunday. I'm talking, extra early. Our house bedtime is usually 930pm, but for Sunday nights , we bump it up to 730pm.

2- Be prepared. Write a lists. Fill in a schedule for the week. Nothing combats the blues better than preparation.

3- COFFEE! There are so many benefits if coffee, mainly, it's a stimulant. It stimulates energy levels, circulation, digestion, and urination.

4- Play your favorite tune in the car on your way to work. My go to song is "Steady Mobbin' " by Lil Wayne. I don't care! I don't care! I will listen to this song forever because I feel like I could run a mile after listening to it.

5- Get an early start. This goes back to number one. Go to bed early to get that headstart. I am usually not an early riser when I have to be, hence, why I work the night shift. But when I get to bed extra early, I start my day at 430am. I get to meditate, get caught up on current events, check emails, update social media, edit and post YouTube videos, pay bills, and create content, all before my kids or husband wake up from their sweet dreams.

6- Eat a good breakfast. I am not a breakfast person, at all, but studies show eating a good breakfast, like a carb paired with a protein, will give you lasting energy, brain fuel, and keep you full longer.

7- And last on my list, but certainly not least, is getting in a good 20 minutes of exercise. A brisk walk, a combination of stretches, yoga, or pilates are great suggestions for that time frame.
